Our Story
It all started on May 1st, on the shores of Monopoli, with feet almost in the sand, the Puglian sun beating down, and two laptops looking decidedly out of place among the beach towels.
Why did F and P — husband, wife, and coding partners — choose Labor Day to start working? Good question. The most honest answer is: because that's just who they are.
Both programmers, both true Puglians, both convinced that the Adriatic Sea is the best place in the world to have a brilliant idea. And that's exactly what happened: sitting by the sea in Monopoli, between a line of code and a distracted glance at the waves, they started talking about technology, creativity, and digital tools. And from that conversation — spontaneous, sunny, and slightly nonsensical — the idea that would give life to PicThings.com was born.
No skyscrapers, no forty-page business plan, no investors in ties. Just two people who love coding almost as much as they love their land, and who decided to build something useful, simple, and — why not — also fun to use.
